Winery Rose

 

The sun-drenched Mainschleife is famous for its vineyards and the strong Franconian wines that thrive on the shell limestone slopes. Wine, sparkling wine and healthy juices come from the family's own winery.

 

We made every glass that you enjoy in our inn ourselves. Our wines are grown and harvested in the traditional Volkacher Ratsherr vineyards, directly below the Maria im Weingarten pilgrimage church. ​ In addition to the classic Franconians such as Silvaner or the fine red Domina, our winery also offers exotic wines such as the Blauer Zweigelt, for example Bacchus, Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Blanc and Riesling.

 

In our wine shop you can taste to your heart's content to find your personal favorite Franconian and take it home with you. For anyone with a thirst for even more knowledge, we offer expert wine tastings for 10 to 40 participants.

 

Our range is rounded off by fine brandies, all distilled from apples, pears, plums and mirabelle plums from our Franconian homeland. A glorious end to any Franconian feast.
